WHY LTC?

With fifteen years in the Licensed Trade working as a Business Owner, Tenant, Consultant, Internal Auditor, Fraud Investigator, Trainer and General Manager, there is very little I have not encountered within the trade although I firmly believe that every day is a day at school. Having won numerous awards including Pub of the Year, Food Pub of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to a Business two years’ in a row, my experience has given me a full 360-degree insight into the day to day needs and pressures faced by the Licensed Trade. My prior experience as a Recruitment Operations and Training Manager in the City has allowed me an invaluable insight into training and the running of a business, so, coupled with my extensive experience in the Licensed Trade, I am well equipped to offer guidance, training and support.


In  2019 I launched LTC London in the belief that pub companies are looking for an experienced all-rounder who can hit the ground running, as, more often than not, the smaller pub groups do not have the much-needed established procedures and support, whilst the larger companies with said support, can sometimes struggle to provide the tailor-made guidance needed at site level.

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Many smaller Pub Co’s are now in the unfortunate position of not being able to afford full-time Operational Support, whilst the bigger groups are looking to streamline.   If this is the case, don’t panic, help is at hand.  Rather than a full-time wage, imagine just having to pay a daily rate for as little or often as the business needs and can afford.  The aim is to hit the ground running and as such, prior to any visit we will ask to be furnished with all the site details so that on arrival, we are fully briefed and there is no time wasted.  This ensures a full day of focussed operational support is delivered.

SPECIALIST MANAGEMENT TRAINING

Giving both our GM’s and AM’s the skills and understanding to run a business effectively is crucial to a profitable business.  My tailored, on-site, one-to-one training focuses on the individuals and specifically on equipping them with the tools and the know-how to run a small business.


I  also offer on-site group training for AM’s and Bar Supervisors so that they too can gain a business understanding allowing them to support their GM's and further their personal development.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE TRAINING

First impressions are hugely important in this business and the training of your team is crucial in ensuring our customers experience is first class from the moment they walk on site.  We are not talking cheesy smiles with Sir and Madam, but a more authentic and genuine experience coupled with the highest of overall standards.  Our teams are a clear reflection of us and how we run our business, so it is wise to invest in them.
Half day, on-site group training is a great way to coach and encourage your teams on how to ensure your customers have had such a good experience that they want to tell their friends.  Training available for all team members old and new. (Max eight per session).

GP GROWTH & PROFIT CONVERSION

TOP LINE GLOWING BUT BOTTOM LINE FADING?

Many of our GM’s and AM’s have little or no understanding of the importance of conversion and mostly just look at the top line and Z Reads. It is essential that they manage the business wholly and that involves ensuring they have the understanding and knowledge to allow them to do this. 

With the right training and understanding it is possible to add thousands to the bottom line each year which makes for healthier growth, a healthier bonus and a happy team.
